Senior Programs

COVID -19 Update September 2021: We have reintroduced limited programming to our 55+ community. To view a full list of programs, or to register, click here. Please note, masks are required while attending programming inside of city facilities

Evergreen, Morgan Park and Portman senior centers serve as a gathering space to visit and socialize, enjoy lunch time meals or participate in fun activities such as exercise programs, bingo, card games or crafts. Each Senior Center has its own monthly programming schedule with Activity Clubs. Activity Clubs are community run groups based on interests of individual members. Historically, groups have consisted of card clubs, coffee and chat, knitting clubs, and more!

Each Activity Club will need a volunteer liaison before returning. This person will be responsible for communicating scheduling needs with the Recreation Specialist and will maintain a list of member contact information. If you would like to learn more about becoming an Activity Clubs, or request space for your Activity Club to meet, please view the form here. View the January Activity Clubs Calendar here. The AEOA Senior Dining meal menu can be found here.

Duluth Parks and Recreation also offers programs with our staff specially catered to older adults. Offerings include day trips, special events, holiday parties, hikes, educational programs, and more! To view current programs, please visit our online registration system here
