The Minnesota State Energy Code will be changing at the beginning of the year and will be effective starting January 5th 2024. Applicants may use the 2016 Energy Code for permits applied before June 1st, 2024. The new energy code is based on 2019 ASHRAE 90.1 The entire adopted Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1323, that will be effective on Jan. 5, 2024 can be found here.
