Park Description

This ten-acre preserve off the bay side of Minnesota Point is built on a wetland created by the dumping of sand dredged to keep the harbor waters deep enough for large ore carriers to navigate. It is named after a former teacher at Duluth Central High School teacher who photographed the marsh, which is a great spot for bird watching.
