Park Description
The East Hillside’s Portland Square is one of the oldest parks in Duluth, established in 1856 as part of Portland Township. The home of Duluth’s first playground, Portland Square once featured a bronze fountain and extensive landscaping. Today it offers playground equipment, picnic facilities, and plenty of greenspace.
