Park Description

Hawk Ridge is 235 acres of undeveloped land centered on the highest point along the eastern portion of Skyline Parkway. It was established in 1972 with help from the Duluth Audubon Society, whose members had been using the location to count hawks during their annual migration since the early 1950s, a practice that continues today.
