Park Description

Located at the far east end of Duluth, Kitchi Gammi Park was established to ensure public access to Lake Superior. The park, including its popular stone-covered Brighton Beach, was first developed as a campground for auto tourists in 1922. Today it includes tables and grills for picnics with with stunning views of Lake Superior. The park is also the eastern terminus of Duluth’s Lakewalk.
