A small area plan is a plan that is developed for a clearly defined area and gives more detailed recommendations than would be provided in a comprehensive plan.

Becks Road Land Use Study:

• At their special meeting August 13, 2026, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Becks Road Land Use Study and resolved to recommend approval of the plan by City Council.
• Next Step: City Council will consider approval of the Becks Road Land Use Study and related changes to the City's comprehensive plan future land use map at their regular meeting, Monday, August 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (Meeting Agenda).
