2026 Street Preservation Project 2092- Gary New Duluth, Duluth Heights, Chester Park, and UMD- Weekly Updates
2026 Street Preservation Project-general comments on work schedule:
We will try to maintain mail and garbage service.
We will try to maintain access unless we are pouring your driveway, at which point we will knock on your door and work with you as we will need to allow about a week to pour your driveway and allow for curing before you can drive on it.
Milling and paving the street will be scheduled once a group of streets have the concrete work completed. The streets will be reposted “No Parking” for each of those operations again.
Week of May 11th, 2026:
Gary-New Duluth:
Storm Work will start week of 11th along with concrete removals (concrete curb and gutter and driveways):
- Gary Street
- West Dickson Street
- Hudson Boulevard
Duluth Heights:
The watermain replacement project will be completed by end of June and then street work will begin:
- Chambersburg Avenue
Kenwood:
Once project is up and running will post schedule for following streets:
- East 13th Street
- Fern Avenue
- Martha Street
- Howtz Avenue
- Cliff Avenue
- Hawkins Street
- Boulevard Place
Chester Park-UMD:
Once project is up and running will post schedule for following street:
- Elizabeth Street
