City Council Lakewalk Task Force
The Lakewalk Task Force was established by the Duluth City Council to review and make recommendations regarding the following issues in the vicinity of 19th Avenue East through 25th Avenue East:
· Safety concerns at the corner of the Lakewalk, Water Street, and 23rd Avenue East.
· Pedestrian access to the lakefront.
· Accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
The group considered the costs, benefits and potential funding sources for potential options and presented its findings and recommendations to the Duluth City Council on January 26, 2015.
