Special Event Permitting
A special event permit is required for any event proposed to be held on publicly owned property if the event:
- interferes with normal traffic, and/or
- requires the use of city services
There are four special event types:
- block parties
- commercial film productions
- nonprofit-sponsored, and
- all other special events
Applicants must submit:
- completed application
- application fee
- traffic control plan
- insurance certificate, and
- notice to abutting property owners
