The Charter Commission is seeking applicants to fill one current vacancy. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2022. Please fill out the application linked below and submit to Mark Hoyne, District Administrative Manager, via email: Mark.Hoyne@courts.state.mn.us. Members are appointed by the Chief Judge of the Sixth Judicial District and generally serve four year terms. An applicant must be a qualified voter of the City of Duluth to be eligible to serve.

The Duluth Charter Commission will be holding its January 12, 2022 Meeting by other electronic means pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021 in response to the COVID-19 emergency. Members of the Charter Commission will be participating through video conference. Due to the COVID-19 emergency and the closure of City facilities, public comment will not be taken in person. However, members of the public can monitor the meeting and provide public comment on agenda items through WebEx Events.
