2025 Sales Tax Projects- Updates
2025 Street Preservation Project-general comments on work schedule:
We will try to maintain mail and garbage service.
We will try to maintain access unless we are pouring your driveway, at which point we will knock on your door and work with you as we will need to allow about a week to pour your driveway and allow for curing before you can drive on it.
Some streets need storm work and might have short-term closures.
Milling and paving the street will be scheduled once a group of streets have the concrete work completed. The streets will be reposted “No Parking” for each of those operations again.
Week of September 8, 2025:
Morgan Park:
These streets were posted “No Parking” the week of May 19th with saw cutting, removal of sidewalk, curb, and catch basins starting the week of May 26th. Removals will continue until Morgan Park streets are completed.
Concrete, milling, paving and restoration work is complete.
Minor cleanup in the coming weeks.

Utility locates and removals marking has been done. Removals, concrete and storm work have been delayed until the week of September 15th. Milling and paving will be scheduled after that for:

Irving:
Sawcutting is completed. Removals and storm work have been delayed waiting for storm structures and rescheduled for the week of September 22nd.
• 57th Ave. West
Lincoln Park:
Sawcutting is completed. Removals have been delayed waiting for storm structures and rescheduled for the week of September 29th.
• 1st Street Alley
Kenwood:
Removals will continue the week of Aug 25th. Concrete work on curbs and driveways will continue onto Cliff Ave., the rest of High and Plum the week of August 25th also. Reclamation is completed and paving continues week of September 8th.

Duluth Heights:
Manhole treatments in road will continue week of September 8th. Restoration and cleanup to follow.

Piedmont Heights:
Manholes are lowered, concrete removals continue the week of September 8th as well as concrete work and perforated pipe for drainage continuing the week of September 8th.
