Youth and Older Worker Employment

Duluth Workforce Development works with employer partners to provide meaningful, paid work experience to youth ages 16-24, and for adults age 50+.  We also offer paid internships for eligible college students. If you are interested in serving as a host site and mentor to our emerging and older worker workforce, please call 218-302-8400.

On-the-Job Training (OJT)

Duluth Workforce Development can help offset the cost of training new hires.  Through OJT, we can help support training on the job for employees who are enrolled with DWD prior to starting work.  Contact Betsy Hill for more information (218-730-5228 or bhill@duluthmn.gov).
