Adult Career Services

Let us support your career goals

DWD’s Adult Career Services provides career counseling, job search assistance, and education and training scholarships to eligible adults.  Participants work one-on-one with a counselor to identify skills and strengths, develop a plan, connect with training that leads to occupations in sectors of the economy that have a high potential for sustained demand or growth in our area.

Services may include:

  • Career exploration
  • Short or long term training to acquire skills in a new field
  • Funding for tuition, books and fees for skill upgrading and retraining
  • Job search assistance
  • Paid internships
  • Support for on-the-job training

Career Pathways Training

Duluth Workforce Development offers a variety of short-term training classes at no cost, to prepare participants for in-demand jobs leading to life-long careers.

Veteran's Information
