City of Duluth to host Duluth Housing Strategies Conference on November 6, 2026

 

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth is pleased to announce its upcoming Duluth Housing Strategies Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) in the Harbor Side Convention Center. Participants can register now for free.

Participants can expect to hear the latest on state and federal housing policy, key updates to state building code and Duluth’s new housing-friendly zoning code, innovative housing solutions, and much more.

 

Featured speakers will include:

Daniel Lightfoot, League of Minnesota Cities

Anne Mavity, Minnesota Housing Partnership

Irene Ruiz-Briseño, Greater Minnesota Housing Fund

Don Sivigny, Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry

 

And Tane Danger of the Theater of Public Policy will return to the Duluth Housing Strategies Conference as host for the day.

 

Developers, builders, lenders, community leaders, and others invested in Duluth’s housing efforts are encouraged to attend. Seating for the 2025 conference filled up fast, so earlier registration is also encouraged.
