City of Duluth to temporarily close W Skyline Parkway on Wednesday, August 12, 2026

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will temporarily close W Skyline Parkway to allow contractor crews to replace drainage piping across the road. This work will begin on August 12, 2026 and is expected to last approximately two weeks.

 

A detour will be posted. The detour route is as follows:

Westbound traffic: Mesaba Avenue > Fourth Street >Tenth Avenue W > W Skyline Parkway

Eastbound traffic: W Skyline Parkway > Tenth Avenue W > Fourth Street > Mesaba Avenue > Skyline Parkway

 

The City of Duluth appreciates drivers’ patience during the closure.
