City of Duluth to temporarily close westbound lane of 400 block of E Superior Street Wednesday

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will temporarily close the westbound lane of E Superior Street between Fourth Avenue and the entrance to the Fitgers Parking Ramp on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 to allow contractors to place and utilize a crane for building maintenance at Essentia. Access to the Fitgers ramp will be maintained from both directions, but traffic will exit the ramp to the east.  

The closure is expected to last the day and is expected to be complete before the evening rush hour. Traffic during the day will be impacted, and drivers wishing to avoid delays should plan accordingly. A signed detour will be posted for westbound traffic. No detour will be required of eastbound traffic.
