2026 Summer Events
The Duluth Police Department continues to meet members of our community in their neighborhoods, and you’re invited to attend any or all of the below summer events!
National Night Out – Tuesday, August 4 from 5 – 9 p.m. at participating neighborhood block parties.
National Night Out establishes relationships between officers and the community. If you’d like to host a neighborhood block party, you can do so by registering online on our website here: (https://duluthmn.gov/police/community-policing/national-night-out/)
Operation K9 – Thursday, August 13 from 4:30 – 8 p.m. at Wessman Arena (2701 Catlin Ave, Superior, Wisconsin)
Operation K-9 is an opportunity for the public to meet K9’s from surrounding law enforcement agencies while enjoying family-friendly activities and K9 demonstrations.
Kids, Cops, and Cars – Wednesday, August 19 from 11 – 2 p.m. at Bayfront (350 Harbor Drive)
This event showcases multiple law enforcement and first responder vehicles. It’s also an opportunity for the public to interact with officers and first responders.
Battle of the Badges Charity Softball Game – Wednesday, August 26 at Wade Stadium (101 N 35th Ave W) Doors open at 5 p.m.
This is the 17th Annual Charity Softball Game between the Duluth Police Department and the Duluth Fire Department. Proceeds go to the Northern Lights Foundation for local children facing life-threatening illnesses.
