City of Duluth to temporarily close 800 block of 24th Avenue W

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will temporarily close 24th Avenue W from eighth to ninth streets to allow for pavement restoration work on Monday, June 22, 2026.

The closure is expected to last through June 27. Traffic will be impacted, and drivers wishing to avoid delays should plan accordingly.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

 

  • Upbound traffic: 24th Ave West to W Third Street to upbound N 27th Avenue W to W 10th Street
  • Downbound traffic:  24th Avenue W to Superior Street to W 10th Street to downbound N 27th Avenue West to W Third Street
