Airport Road to close to traffic beginning May 18

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will close Airport Road to facilitate the start of construction on a new air traffic control tower for Duluth International Airport. This road closure will be from the Cirrus facility to just west of Airport Approach Road. There will be no posted detour. Traffic can access the opposite side of the closure from US HWY 53 at either Cirrus Drive or Stebner Road.

The closure will be in place for approximately two weeks. Drivers are advised to give themselves extra time to navigate the closure when travelling in the area.
