Northbound lane of Third Avenue W to close May 12, 2026

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will close the northbound (uphill) lane of Third Avenue W starting May 12 to allow contractors to safely repair the brick paver street and sidewalk.

No detour will be posted, and drivers should use either Fourth Avenue W or Second Avenue W to access further up the hill. Pedestrian access should be maintained during this work, though sidewalks may be constrained.  This closure is expected to be in place through May 22.
