City of Duluth to close two lanes of traffic on Central Entrance tomorrow

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] City of Duluth utility operations crews will close two lanes of Central Entrance beginning at 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 to allow for a utility repair. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction (east and westbound). This closure is expected to last the day and will be reopened as soon as work is complete. This work is expected to impact commuter traffic flow and drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to their destinations. It is recommended that drivers between the mall area and downtown Duluth consider using US Highway 53. Traffic delays should be expected.
