City of Duluth is seeking applicants for its Charter Commission

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth is seeking interested applicants for its Charter Commission. The City of Duluth's Charter Commission acts on matters relating to the framing and amending of the Duluth City Charter.

The Commission consists of 9 members serving 4-year terms who are appointed by Judges of District Court. Each member is required to be a qualified voter of the City.

Meetings shall be held on the second Wednesday of January, April and July at 5:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the Duluth City Hall unless canceled by the president. Other meetings may be called by the president.

The annual meeting of the commission shall be held on the second Wednesday in October at 5:00 p.m. in the council chambers of Duluth City Hall.
