Public comment period open for the proposed revisions to the City of Duluth Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan

 

[Duluth, MN] The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed revisions to the City of Duluth Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan. In 2016, the Duluth City Council voted to adopt the Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan. The rapid development of the EAB infestation since that time has prompted an update to the 2016 Plan. The revisions update information regarding treatment methodology, data to reflect current statuses, and other minor changes to format. The intent of the plan remains unchanged.

The proposed revisions were presented to the Natural Resources Commission on November 2, 2022. A copy of the proposed revisions to the plan is available for public comment until November 28, 2022. The redlined version, which highlights changes from the 2016 plan, is available for review and comment at: https://duluthmn.gov/parks/natural-resources/invasive-species/eab/
