City of Duluth to offer road sand collection sites

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth will be offering five road sand collection sites starting next Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

These sites are for residents of Duluth to use for road sand collection, are free to use, and help keep Lake Superior, rivers, and streams clean from pollution.

The collection sites will be available at the following locations:

  • Duluth Heights Community Club
  • Piedmont Community Club
  • Chester Park
  • Wheeler Field
  • Portman Community Club

The collection sites will be available for approximately one month and are dependent on usage and capacity.
