Parks & Rec launch essential spaces community survey to shape the future of Duluth’s parks

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth’s Parks & Recreation Division is asking for the public’s help in the next phase of planning for the Essential Spaces: Duluth Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Trails Plan.

A community survey link can be found on the Essential Spaces project page at: https://duluthmn.gov/parks/parks-planning/progress-in-the-park/essential-spaces/

Essential Spaces will serve as a long-range master plan that will guide decision-making for Duluth’s park system. Public participation is needed to better understand how parks, recreation, open space, and trails in Duluth should be preserved, developed, improved, and enjoyed over the next 10 years.

At the end of the survey, participants will have the option to enter a drawing for one of 20 gift cards valued at $20 each.  Survey responses are confidential and no personal identifying information will be shared.

The community survey will be open through November 9 for input. The City of Duluth would like to thank the public for their time and consideration in adding their voice to this process.
