Parks and Rec to host Enger Park Golf Course Renovation Public Engagement Meeting on June 29
[Duluth, MN] Parks and Recreation will host a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, June 29 at 6:00 p.m. to provide input for the proposed Enger Park Golf Course renovations. The public is inviting to attend.
The Parks and Recreation Division will co-host the meeting with professional consultants from Norby Golf Design Inc., Architectural Resources Inc., and Antares Golf, LLC. Draft concept plans of golf course layout routing and clubhouse options will be presented in addition to answering questions and taking public comments. Draft concept plans will also be available for viewing at Enger Park Golf Course beginning June 25 through July 5 with an opportunity to provide comments. Parks staff will be available for answering questions June 30 from 7-11 a.m. and July 1 from 2-4 p.m. Additional questions can be directed to Todd Armbruster, Parks Project Coordinator, at tarmbruster@duluthmn.gov or 218-730-4304.
Enger Park Golf Course renovation items include a new irrigation system, new clubhouse, improvements to fairways, and bunker renovations. This work is planned for 2023 while the course is closed to golf play and Lester Park Golf Course reopens for one final season of golf.
