Duluth Fire Department responds to Water Rescue

[Duluth, MN] The Duluth Police Department responded to a welfare check near an Access Road of South 37th Avenue West at 2:50 p.m. Upon arrival, the individual Police responded to jumped into the St. Louis River. The individual was located and brought to shore by Duluth Fire Department, who was the first fire company on the scene, and transported by Mayo Ambulance to a Duluth Area hospital. The condition of the individual is not yet known.

This incident is now under investigation. St. Louis County will be investigating the incident.
