New Recruits:

Starting Pay - Includes Incentives:

     $36.88/hour - $4,778/month - $76,710/year

Longevity Pay - 4% longevity steps at 7 and 14 years

Master COP Program - eligible after 3 years (up to 8% pay increase)

Lateral Officers:

Starting Pay - Includes Incentives:

     1 - 7 years: $44.44/hour - $7,703/month - $92,435/year

     7 - 14 years: $46.12/hour - $7,994/month - $95,990/year

     14+ years: $47.79/hour - $8,296/month - $98,332/year

Prior experience from other agencies will be counted towards years of service at DPD and applied to:

    - Longevity Pay - 4% longevity steps at 7 and 14 years

    - Vacation Hour Accrual Rate

    - Promotional Opportunities (eligible after probationary period)

    - Master COP Program - up to 8% pay increase (eligible after probationary period)
