Parks and Recreation Offers Holiday Break Skating at the DECC, Heritage Sports Center and Bayfront

Looking for somewhere to skate over the holiday break, check out all the Parks and Recreation skating options. 

Duluth Entertainment Convention Center DECC Skating Party

On Sunday, December 26th  Parks and Recreation will host a skating party at the DECC from 3:00-5:00 PM.  This event will be held in the DECC Arena. The skating party is free and open to all ages. This is a great event for families. Music will be provided by Shelly's Mobile Music Machine. There will be free door prizes and cookies for kids. Please bring your own skates.

Bayfront Park Outdoor Skating

Located in the heart of Duluth adjacent to Bentleyville Tour of Lights is the Bayfront Park outdoor skating rink. Bayfront Park skating hours are 5:00-9:00 PM until Decemeber 26th. During the holiday break Bayfront will be open December 27-31 from 1:00-8:00 PM and closed on January 1st.  On January 2nd Bayfront will be open weekly Monday-Friday 4:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 1:00-8:00 PM and Sunday 1:00-5:00 PM.

Heritage Sports Center Indoor Skating

Duluth Parks and Recreation is also offering a free holiday break skating session at the Heritage Sports Center on Friday, December 31st from 1:30-3:00 PM.  Skating is free and open to all ages for pleasure skating. Please bring your own skates. The Heritage Center is located at 120 South 30th Avenue West.
