Re: Kozy Apartment fire investigation
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues. Fire investigators, Jeff Dellwo – Duluth Fire Department Deputy Fire Marshal; and Police Investigator Todd Kuusisto - Duluth Police Crime Scene & Arson Investigator, are asking for the publics help.
The fire occurred in room #32 of the Kozy Apartment building, 109 N 2nd Ave E., on 11/15/10 at about 2213 hours.
Numerous occupants, witnesses, and other persons have been interviewed since the fire.
No known cause has been clearly identified.
We have obtained security video from the Kozy Apartments and would like to identifiy a Native American female who was in the building just moments before the fire was discovered.
This female is not a suspect, but is a person we feel has very important information that would assist us in determining a cause of the fire. (see attached photo)
