[DULUTH, MN] As part of Mayor Reinert’s 2026 Artists in Residence programming, Lyric Opera of the North (LOON) will perform on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at noon in the rotunda on the first floor of Duluth City Hall. The public is invited to this free, lunch hour performance, in which LOON artists will give the audience a sneak preview of their fall main stage performance, Bernstein & Sondheim: Regards to Broadway! As always, there is no cost to attend this noon performance.

 

LOON was chosen as Mayor Reinert’s Artists in Residence for 2026 and was welcomed into City Hall on January 21 to begin a monthly performance series at City Hall and to display historical set pieces, promotional posters, and photographs in the Mayor’s Reception Room.

 

LOON’s monthly performance series is made possible by the Boreal Waters Foundation.
