Weekend Stabbing

At approximately 12:10 a.m., Sunday, September 13, Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of West 1st Street. Upon arrival, Officers located a 37-year-old male victim with stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Initial information shows that the suspect and victim were in the bathroom when a fight ensued between them, leading to the victim being stabbed. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was located a short time later in the area of North 2nd Avenue West and West 3rd Street. He was detained and uncooperative.  25-year-old Kyle Heisler Jr was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of 1st Degree Assault, Threats of Violence, and Misdemeanor Obstructing.
