• None expected outside of the road closures.

Closed areas

• W Superior Street from west of 18th Avenue W to Michigan Street except for Garfield Avenue/Piedmont Avenue and access to 16th Avenue W.

Detour routes

• Vehicle traffic: Eastbound W Superior Street traffic is detoured at 21st Avenue W onto West 1st Street to 5th Avenue W; westbound W Superior Street traffic is detoured along W Michigan Street/Lower Michigan Street to 21st Avenue W.
• Cross City Trail users: No detour route, Cross City Trail is complete through the project area.

Access to businesses

• M&H Gas Station: Access is along the westbound detour route. MNDOT’s closure of W Superior Street/W Michigan Street begins past M&H for eastbound traffic.

• Duluth Gospel Tabernacle: Access via Garfield Avenue or Piedmont Avenue to 16th Avenue W.
• Businesses in the 1700 block of West Superior Street: Pedestrian access will be maintained from the west end of the project.
