Individual Arrested for Second Degree Assault Charges
At approximately 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, Duluth Police responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of West 4th Street. Initial information shows 36-year-old Karima Abdulmalik and another female got in a verbal altercation which led to Abdulmalik throwing a knife at the female victim. The victim sustained a minor laceration. Abdulmalik was arrested and lodged at the Saint Louis County Jail for pending charges of Second-Degree Assault.
