Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force Arrest Male for Multiple Pending Charges

The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force has been investigating 31-year-old Kwame Mitchell for sale of drugs within the Twin Ports. During the investigation, task force investigators identified two locations he utilized to sell drugs out of. During the execution of the search warrant on both locations, on Mitchell, and his vehicle, the following were seized: 

  • 1,996.37 grams of meth
  • 1.05 kilograms of cocaine
  • 3 grams of fentanyl
  • 44,883 in US Currency
  • A loaded pistol
  • Other evidence of drug sales

Mitchell was lodged at the St Louis County Jail for pending charges of 1st Degree Sale of Methamphetamine, 1st Degree Sale of Cocaine, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm
