Duluth Police Recover Stolen Bicycles
At approximately 7:30 a.m., Friday April 10, Duluth Police responded to the 6000 block of Freemont Street for the report of a burglary. Officers learned two bikes, worth over $5,000, were stolen from a home sometime the night prior. Through the investigation, Duluth Police were able to track the bikes back to an address in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. A search warrant was executed, and the bikes were recovered. During the execution of the search warrant, one individual, 33-year-old Joseph Tynjala was arrested on pending 1st degree burglary charges. Three additional individuals were arrested: 36-year-old Sasha Santa on an outstanding warrant; 40-year-old Michael Schaefer and 46-year-old Beau Peacock for pending charges of obstructing legal process. Great job to the officers and investigators for their hard work and dedication to holding these offenders accountable and returnign stolen property back to its owner.
