Duluth Police Identify and Arrest Male for Mail Theft Incident

UPDATE:

Duluth Police arrested 25-year-old Michael Connor Cordel Huisinger for other mail theft charges. Huisinger was known to investigators, and details from the mail theft incident led investigators to Husinger, who admitted to being the individual involved in the incidents that occurred in Gary on March 18. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.

ORIGINAL:

At approximately 12:10 a.m., Wednesday March 18, Duluth Police responded to the 500 block of 99th Avenue West for a report of an individual going through peoples mailboxes and opening their mail. Prior to officers arrival, the suspect fled the scene on foot and was unable to be located.

The suspect is described as wearing all black with a snowmobile helmet.
