Band applications now open for Duluth Parks and Recreation's 2026 Music in the Park concert series

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is excited to announce they are now accepting applications for the 2026 Music in the Park concert series.

This 90-minute weekly musical performance series takes place Tuesday evenings June 16 through August 11, 2026 with a rain date built in at the end of the schedule. All concerts are from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Due to construction projects taking place at Chester Park and reconstruction of the Chester Bowl Chalet, all concerts will take place at Lincoln Park, 2501 W Third Street. In 2027, the concert series will resume as a split series at Chester Park and Lincoln Park.

Applications will close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, and will only be accepted via the online submission portal. If your band is interested in applying, the application can be found here: https://www.duluthmn.gov/parks/music-in-the-park/ 

Bands will be compensated according to the application language; sound and tech needs will be provided by the City. Bands are asked to provide a bio, contact information, up to three sound samples, and other information.

Duluth Parks and Recreation’s Music in the Park committee will review applications in the weeks following the submission deadline and will reach out to bands to confirm selections. The Music in the Park line-up will be announced in the spring.
