Duluth Fire Department donates over $7,000 worth of toys to Salvation Army holiday toy drive
[DULUTH, MN] This morning, current and retired Duluth firefighters gathered at the Duluth Target store location to purchase toys for their 25th annual employee toy drive. Firefighters raised employee donations amounting to more than $7,000, setting a record for their efforts.
“This was a record year for us, with over $7,000 in employee donations, and we’re proud to be able to help support those in need in our community,” said Rob Morehouse, DFD Deputy Chief. The firefighters delivered three vehicle loads of toys to the Salvation Army holiday toy drive following the shopping trip this morning.
The Duluth Fire Department wishes everyone a wonderful and safe holiday season.
