Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Park Point Camping Site Visit Scheduled 

Parks and Recreation announced today the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff members Bruce Carlson and Patty Fowler will meet with the Park Point Camping Task Force on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 8:30 AM.   DNR officals and committee members will meet at the Sky Harbor Airport parking lot.   Task Force members should come prepared to hike to the proposed camping area.

The purpose of the visit is for the DNR to see the precise site of the camping area so they can provide a realistic assessment. Their feedback will guide the task force's final report to the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Parks and Recreation Commission's monthly meetings are open to the public.
