***Update: striping and sealing project postponed***

 

[DULUTH, MN] The striping and sealing project announced for the sport court at Wheeler Athletic Complex is postponed until a future date yet to be determined.  A new timeline will be announced as soon as it is established. The sport court will remain open until the new timeline is announced.

Sport court at Wheeler Athletic Complex closed starting September 1 for sealing/coating/striping

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] On Monday, September 1, the sport court at the Wheeler Athletic Complex will be striped and a coating will be added to the multi-use tennis/pickleball and basketball courts. This sealing coating will preserve the long-term life of the court.

To accommodate this work, the entire sport court will be closed beginning September 1 and remain closed through the anticipated project completion date of September 5. Tennis nets will be removed from the tennis courts on Friday, August 29. The court gates will be locked once work begins. If work is finished sooner, the courts will be unlocked when they become available for use again.

The City of Duluth thanks the court’s users for their patience through this process.
