Portion of the Lakewalk to be impacted by intermittent closures beginning Monday, June 30

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The portion of the Lakewalk that spans the area between 26th Avenue E and 32nd Avenue E will be intermittently closed and detoured beginning Monday, June 30 through the construction season to allow for a contractor to safely work on a sanitary sewer bypass project.

 

Users of the Lakewalk trail should expect heavy equipment, flaggers, and construction workers at various times in this region of the trail for the summer. Detours will be posted and should be observed, both for the safety of the construction workers and for the safety of trail users.
