Duluth Parks and Recreation to seek input from the public on the development of a Park Point Recreation Area Plan
[DULUTH, MN] Duluth Parks and Recreation is announcing the development of a Park Point Recreation Area Plan. The plan development allows parks planners to examine existing facilities, explore and identify opportunities for improvement, and engage with community members to ensure the future park plan reflects local values and priorities.
Community members may provide input on the future of the Park Point Recreation Area via an online survey, or in-person at a community input session. They may also choose to utilize both feedback-gathering opportunities.
The online community survey can be found at: https://publicinput.com/parkpointrecarea. The survey will be open for input through June 22, 2025.
An in-person open house-style community input session will be held Wednesday, June 18 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Lafayette Community Center, 3016 Minnesota Avenue.Participants may drop-in anytime during the input session to provide feedback and ideas for improvements to the recreation area. Project staff will be present to answer questions and discuss ideas.
