Structure Fire on 3500 block of Woodland Avenue
[DULUTH, MN] Duluth Fire Department responded this evening at 8:23 pm to a call of a structure fire on the 3500 block of Woodland Avenue. Woodland crews were first on scene to find an outdoor cedar sauna involved in fire. Residents were at home at the time of the fire but were not in the sauna structure. The fire was contained to just the sauna structure, which was quickly attacked by crews from Woodland, UMD, and downtown stations.
There were no injuries reported in the incident. Damage to the outdoor sauna structure is estimated at $20K.
