Portion of Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail temporarily closed beginning Friday

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] A portion of the Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail will be closed to the public beginning Friday, May 17, 2024. The temporary closure will affect the section of trail from Kingsbury Creek bridge to the Grand Avenue Trailhead parking lot, which is shown in the included map. This segment of paved trail is being re-routed in order to achieve ADA-compliant grades, which will improve access and usability for all trail users.

 

This segment of trail is expected to be closed for a minimum of eight weeks. The City is thankful to the public for their patience while the trail section is re-routed.
