Parks and Recreation to host Bike Night on Thursday, August 17

[Duluth, MN] On Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Hartley Park, Parks and Recreation is hosting an educational Bike Night along with Northland Adaptive Recreation that will inform community members about various styles of bikes, program opportunities regarding biking for various ability levels, and to connect with others interested in biking.

On-site to see, learn about, and try (on a limited basis) there will be balance bikes, recumbent tricycles, and adaptive mountain bikes. Sizes of bikes makes this event best for teens and adults.

The address for Hartley Park is 3001 Woodland Avenue (Hartley Road).

Join Duluth Parks & Recreation and Northland Adaptive Recreation to learn about inclusive biking options, various styles of bikes, and biking programming opportunities across Duluth!

We'll have balance bikes, recumbent tricycles, and adaptive mountain bikes on-site to see, learn about, try, and connect with other community members who enjoy biking. Sizes of bikes available make this event geared towards teens and adults.

Demos may be limited - and best suited for teens/adults based on sizes of bikes.

Biking happens in a lot of different ways in this town - let's learn more about the variety of ways to get wheels rolling!
