Washington Square Park Closed August 22-26 for Playground Maintenance
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth will temporarily close a portion of Washington Square Park along Regent Street and N. 43rd Ave. E. to the public starting Monday, August 22 through Friday, August 26 to perform maintenance at the playground. The playground edging and fall-zone material will be removed and replaced, and a ramp will be installed to improve user experience and accessibility. The work will also require closure of the parking area along Regent Street. The playground and parking area are scheduled to reopen Saturday, August 27, 2022.
