Portions of Chester Park trails to close temporarily beginning June 8, 2022 during communications tower maintenance activities

[Duluth, MN] Portions of Chester Park trails will close temporarily during active maintenance activities associated with the communications tower. A 140-foot buffer zone is required to ensure park user safety. For the safety of all involved, users should adhere to trail closure signage posted onsite and refrain from entering the construction site. All work is anticipated to be completed by June 30, 2022. This project will not expand on the current communications tower footprint, it is only focused on technology/equipment upgrades.
