City of Duluth Goose Management Plan Informational Public Meeting
[Duluth, MN] The public is invited to an informational public meeting regarding a proposed Goose Management Plan for the City of Duluth. This meeting will be held on Monday, May 23rd at 4:30 pm at City Hall, Conference Rm. 330. Please be advised that the public must enter at Priley Circle.
The meeting will be hosted by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division, and will include a presentation from the City’s Natural Resources Coordinator along with the opportunity to ask questions of a panel of local wildlife and wild rice restoration partners. The proposed Goose Management Plan is being developed to support the City’s partners in their wild rice restoration efforts in the St. Louis River Estuary. The City has no plans to conduct any goose management activities on City lands now or in the immediate future.
